German Physicians Strip to Protest PPE Shortages

In a move that has got tongues wagging and eyebrows to rise, a group of German doctors have chosen to strip down.

Now don’t get the good doctors wrong. They disrobed for a worthy cause and not to feed your naughty eyes!

Due to the shortage of personal protective gear and equipment, the doctors are posing nude, often donning only a stethoscope.

Their protest is aptly named ‘Blanke Bedenken’ which when loosely translated means ‘Naked Concerns.’

While calling for the government to do more to get masks, protective clothing, and disinfectants, the doctors encouraged citizens to donate any extra PPE to the medics.

In a horrific turn of events that has left the whole nation reeling with shock, 68 veterans died from the coronavirus.

According to officials, 68 veterans who lived at the state-run Holyoke Soldiers in Massachusetts home died after being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Termed as the ‘deadliest known outbreak’ among US long-term care centers, it left dozens of veterans sickened

Among the sick are 81 employees and 82 residents of the facility.

While federal and state officials are trying to uncover what happened, there are fears that the patients were denied suitable medical care.

‘It’s horrific,’ said Edward Lapointe, whose father-in-law lives at the home and had a mild case of the virus. ‘These guys never had a chance.’

The facility’s head has been placed on administrative leave although he claim that staffing shortages contributed to the crisis and that state officials knew about the situation.

With the state’s top prosecutor thinking about legal action, who do you think between the facility superintendent and the state officials should be held accountable for the incidents?
