Who is Lafitte?

Lafitte is a French family name. The first Lafitte cork stoppers manufacturing unit was founded in 1918, in the southwest of France. Later, a member from the 3rd Lafitte generation, Mr. Jacques Lafitte came to Portugal in 1956 and moved the company’s production operation from the southwest of France to Portugal, which is known for its enormous oak tree forests. During the entire production process of the more than 400 million cork stoppers it produces annually, each operation is carried out according to the parameters in which the company is certified.
Lafitte Cork Portugal sells to wineries all over the world, directly from Portugal or through Lafitte
Group’s distribution network:
