Honor this honor that honor honor honor, these and more phrases kept on ringing in my head so much that I had to rewatch the Honor series that had been taught over and over again.

If someone honors you, they recognize and award you for your achievements. The term honor has always been a word used to describe men and women of high moral worth or great achievement, so I thought even in God’s kingdom we honor people who have worked for it.

The Bible is so clear on honor but yet I found it hard to honor non honorable people, it gave me a hard time honoring someone who didn’t behave honorably but during one MC I really understood this honor thing, Pastor Beatrice Byemanzi clearly put it out that the Bible in the fifth commandment, Exodus 20;12 which says, “Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long in the land that the Lord your God is giving you”

What do we need in this life?

To live long and live well and when we honor our parents that’s exactly what we get and not with words but with our profit.

Growing up my father would give my grandmother money for upkeep weekly and even now he still does , during the honor series I realized the reason as to why he continues to honor her with profit yet I actually thought my father was being manipulated but he does it because he knows the repercussions of the fifth commandment.

Honor has become part of me, I honor because I know the reward, I honor because it’s a commandment, I honor because it’s about me not the person I’m honoring, I honor everyone and in wisdom.

I teach people how to honor and also make sure they understand and do as the word says and also hold them accountable.

The reward of honor is not as the world gives but as God
