Opening up about death and dying

Making things open, makes things better.

The principle of ‘making things open’ has been around for a while now, I’ve read so many blogs about the benefits of ‘being open’ that there must be something in it.

But what does it really mean?

I think we can all agree that wanting to improve what you do is a sound idea.

This is where I think this blog comes in…

I want to open up the conversation around death and dying, and I hope sharing some thoughts on our new Medium blog could help.

Some people (and statistics suggest you’re probably one of them) might not have thought much about the end of life or think these issues don’t really apply to them. But, the things we work on day in day out will be things everyone will need to think about at some point in their lives.

From this point on, I’ll be sharing, in an open and honest way, what we’re working on — the good, the bad and the ugly.

The idea is that I (and others) will write about the things we learn in the hope that everyone will benefit (us included).

Some ideas for future blogs:

Oh and because I work in digital (whatever that means) there’ll be some nerdy blogs too.

Warning: Nerdy blogs will feature heavily

This is an experiment of course, but hopefully the beginning of something useful — for us and anyone out there reading…

Thanks for reading our first blog.
