KVANTOR attended the Global Blockchain Summit in Frankfurt 2018

KVANTOR team attended the key event for business leaders, held on April 26, 2018 in Frankfurt. The international conference Blockchain Summit Frankfurt united more than seven hundred representatives of key financial market players, entrepreneurs, IT professionals and investors. The Panel discussions and networking of the Summit were not only a platform for discussing topical issues of using blockchain technologies in various areas, but also a place for making promising decisions.

Within the framework of the Summit, KVANTOR held negotiations with representatives of a large venture company Iconiq Lab, as the result reached agreements on further cooperation. At round table sessions, were also held meetings with the representatives of Commerzbank, ReiseBank AG, the European Central Bank and the Humaniq project, which had been developing financial infrastructure in Africa.

Large number of bank speakers noted that the SWIFT solution had stopped to meet the requirements of the modern times, as unreliable and slowing down business processes at all stages.

Now there is an urgent need to realize new effective solutions, the main one of which is distributed registry technology. Commerzbank already uses the Batavia product, which implements one of the features of KVANTOR. ReiseBank AG was the first German bank to conduct a blockchain transaction with the Canadian bank.

As the result of the Summit, a certain development vector of KVANTOR’s partnership with international financial institutions and industrial companies has emerged.
