Your Precious Treasures

Thank You Notes #39

A couple of days ago, I wanted a little spoon to stir a tiny cup of Turkish coffee I made at home. To my delight, I instantly thought of my grandma’s silver ones.

I discovered her collection of five unique spoons neatly placed in a drawer. After polishing them, beautiful memories came flooding back to me. Her birthday, February twenty-third, was engraved on one of the spoons.

Through holding this treasure, I remembered her sweet smile and kind being. Her favorite cake was banana with freshly whipped cream icing, the one I made every year for her.

Those precious items in our homes bring us joy when we discover their power to ignite a spark of happiness within us. I invite you to display and use more of those treasures close to you.
