Is the Film Industry Running Out of Movie Titles?

Is it all about combining words now?

It used to be so simple.
Frankenstein.
Jaws.
Earthquake.
Armageddon.
The Blob.
The Fly.

Simple easy to understand one word movie titles.

BUT,

Last night as we were scrolling through Netflix and Amazon Prime I noticed something quite funny.

Beside the popular Sharknado, which combines tornadoes with sharks I saw a new trend(?) here.

For instance:
